2nd December, 2003: NEWS UPDATE
Last week was an important one for The Band. Much was made of the opportunity to have a free house for 7 days in which to practice, but unfortunately little progress was made regarding a group recording session. That�s not to say however that nothing was done, oh no. A rough cut of �1000 Years� was recorded, as was The Band�s first full attempt at the much hyped �White Face, Red Cheeks�.Progress was also made with the development of a number of ideas, with much needed collaboration between The Band members. By the end of the week spirits were high and confidence boosted.
Overall you could say that the week didn�t totally live up to expectations, which were perhaps set a little too high to start with. The main thing was The Band got together at last and rocked out a few tunes. Here�s hoping a venue can be found (and soon) so as to keep up the momentum.
